Event Summary
The SEC and Financial Reporting Institute was created by the School of Accounting in 1982. The overall objective of the Institute is to promote exchange among academicians, policy setters at the SEC and FASB, and business and accounting executives. This broad goal underlies each of the Institute’s main thrusts: to sponsor conferences and meetings, and to undertake research of interest to academicians, policy setters, and business and accounting leaders.
